X-RAY SERVICES

We have purchased a specialty built fully self contained X-ray trailer “The Spirit of New Orleans”.  The Whitefoot Strata has kindly allowed us to set up on the North side of the building near the Clinic entrance. It was shipped up from New Orleans where it served as the on-site X-ray facility at the Superdome during Hurricane Katrina.  Built in 2003 with a construction cost of over $100,000 USD, it is a fully self contained facility with an automatic processor, and a portable X-ray unit we hope to deploy at Ski Patrol.   As the first mobile general duty X-ray facility in Canada, licensing has been very tedious, but justified given the essential nature of the service.

Full details on on the trailer are available here.
