Official Community Plan for Big White: Holds maps and documents of the Regional District Kootenay Boundary planning committee for the Community of Big White.
BC Resort Strategy: The British Columbia Resort Strategy and Action Plan (the "Resort Strategy") was completed in November 2004. It is part of a Provinicial Initiative to maximize tourism and consequent revenue. It confers much of the Regional and local goverment powers to Resorts and local Associations. The five components of the British Columbia Resort Strategy are: 1. Maintain and Enhance British Columbia’s Competitive Edge in Resort Development 2. Increase Resort Development 3. Support Resort Communities 4. Improve Transportation Infrastructure 5. Build First Nations Partnerships
